Through the energy efficiency test in summer for five water (ground)-source heat pump systems which have been running for more than one year in Chongqing area, analyses the actual energy-saving feature and operation situation of each system. The results of energy saving potential are not perfect. Uses the evaluation method recommended by Assessment guideline to compute energy-saving rate of those systems, the results rarely reach to more than 30%. According to the test results and system design data, analyses the host and transporting energy efficiency levels of each system, and inquiries the reasons for unsatisfactory performance. Furthermore, carries out an analysis for factors affecting system energy-saving. The results show that the load rate of the system, inlet temperature of cooling water and adjustment performance of water pump affect the energy efficiency levels of the system to different extents.
